A planning application for 455 residential units and 160,000 ft² of commercial space has been lodged to Cork County Council subject to approval.

The site is due to have full Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF) infrastructure along with a primary and secondary school and also a public park. The site forms part of one of the largest LIHAF schemes in Ireland and is a primary development within Cork County Council’s strategic plan.

The LIHAF project is currently at the tender evaluation stage. Subject to approval, construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2022.
